OCD Treatment at EBT Collaborative
EBT Collaborative provides specialized Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention for children, teens, and adults, with in-person and telehealth options available across our locations.
The Gold-Standard Treatment for OCD
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the most evidence-supported treatment for OCD and is recommended as the first-line intervention by every major clinical guideline. ERP works by gradually and systematically exposing clients to the thoughts, images, or situations that trigger obsessional anxiety, while preventing the compulsive response. Over time, this process reduces the anxiety response and breaks the OCD cycle.
At EBT Collaborative, ERP is delivered by clinicians who specialize in OCD treatment. It is not one service among many, it is a core focus of our practice.

Our Treatments
-
For children with OCD, ERP is delivered with age-appropriate techniques and active parent involvement. Parents learn how to support exposures at home, reduce accommodation, and respond to OCD in ways that do not reinforce avoidance. We also offer DBT-C for children who have co-occurring emotion dysregulation alongside OCD.
-
Adolescents benefit from ERP delivered within a family context. Parents and caregivers are involved in treatment to reduce accommodation at home and support generalization of gains from session to everyday life. For teens with co-occurring emotion dysregulation or self-harm, ERP can be coordinated alongside our multi-family DBT program.
-
Adult ERP follows a structured, graduated format tailored to the specific OCD presentation. For adults with co-occurring PTSD or trauma history, our clinicians can coordinate OCD treatment with DBT Prolonged Exposure when clinically appropriate.
-
For clients who need more than weekly sessions, our individualized intensive programs provide concentrated ERP across multiple sessions per week. Intensive ERP is appropriate for clients who have not responded to standard weekly treatment, those stepping down from a higher level of care, or those who want to make rapid progress in a focused period.
